How Much Does a Tour to San Blas from Panama Cost? (Actual Prices for 2026)
Let’s get right to it: our one-day tour to San Blas costs $135 per person, all-inclusive. Here’s a breakdown of exactly what’s included in that price and what’s charged separately, so there are no surprises.
What’s Included in the Price
- Door-to-door 4x4 transportation from your hotel in Panama City (round trip).
- Inter-island boat ride with life jackets.
- Visit to 3 islands + the Natural Pool.
- Traditional lunch on the island.
- Guide from the Guna community.
What’s Not Included
- Guna Yala region tax: $22 for foreigners / $7 for locals, payable in cash upon arrival. This is a fee collected directly by the indigenous community—children ages 0–9 are exempt.
- Alcoholic beverages, coconuts, and handicrafts (molas) you wish to purchase.
Why do prices vary so much among tour operators?
You’ll see offers ranging from $99 to $200+. The cheapest options usually do NOT include hotel pickup, lunch, or visits to all the islands—and they charge you at the port, when you can no longer negotiate. We are a direct operator working with the Guna community: the price you see is the final price.
Book in Advance
You don’t pay the $135 upfront: you secure your spot with a deposit and pay the rest on the day of the tour. Free cancellation up to 72 hours in advance.
