The lowest price to explore San Blas: Shipwreck Island, a picture-perfect cayo, and the Natural Pool—all-inclusive.
The best-priced way into San Blas. You visit Perro Chico — the best-known island in the comarca, with its sunken ship you can snorkel straight from the beach — and Isla Pelícano, a tiny postcard cay ringed by turquoise water. The day closes floating in the Natural Pool, the sandbank in the middle of the sea where the water doesn't reach your waist.
It is the same full day as the pricier tours: same 5:00 am hotel pickup, same door-to-door 4x4, same boat, same island lunch. The difference is the number of stops — two islands instead of three or four — which also means longer on each one instead of rushing from cay to cay.
Includes transport, boat with life jackets, a typical lunch and a local guide. The comarca entrance fee is paid separately on the day, in cash or by card to the driver. It books with a deposit, so you hold your spot without paying everything up front.
Great if it's your first time in San Blas, you're travelling on a budget, or you simply want the sea without paying for extras you won't use.
Maybe not your tour if you want the Guna community visit or the most islands possible in one day: that lives in the packages above.
Departure from Panama City by 4x4 to the Guna Yala region.
Snorkeling at the famous shipwreck and white-sand beach.
The picture-perfect island, with a traditional lunch by the sea.
One last swim at the sandbar, then back to the city.
You leave before dawn and there is nowhere to buy anything all day. The full packing list, and what happens if you forget each thing →
With 72 hours or more of notice you get 100 % of the deposit back, or you change the date at no cost. Inside those 72 hours the deposit is no longer refundable, because by then your seat in the 4x4 and the boat is held and nobody else can use it; even so, if you tell us, we try to reschedule. And if we are the ones who cancel, which only happens for real sea safety, you choose between another date at no cost or 100 % of what you paid.
$114 per person, with the door-to-door 4x4, the boat, lunch and the guide included. The comarca entrance fee is paid separately, once: $22 for foreigners and $7 for residents, in cash.
2: Isla Perro Chico, Isla Pelícano. The order is set by the tide and the sea that day, not by a fixed schedule.
Pickup at your Panama City hotel is around 5:00 am, and you are back in the city late in the afternoon. The early start is set by the mountain crossing and the tide, not by preference.
Only the number of stops: two islands instead of three. The 5:00 pickup, the door-to-door 4x4, the boat and the island lunch are exactly the same as on the $135 tours.
Yes, it is the first stop: Isla Perro Chico, where the sunken boat lies. No other route in the catalogue gets you there for less.
What does not depend on this tour — your ID, the comarca fee, route changes forced by the sea — is answered in one place instead of on every tour page. See all the frequently asked questions →
