San Blas in a Day: Hour-by-Hour Itinerary
Is one day enough for San Blas? Yes—if it’s well organized. This is the actual itinerary for our tours, hour by hour.
5:00 a.m. — Pickup at your hotel
Departure from Panama City in a 4x4. Sleep on the way or enjoy the sunrise over the mountains.
7:45 a.m. — Port of Cartí
Pay the local tax, put on your life jackets, and board the boat.
08:30 — First island
You’ll arrive when the light is perfect and the beaches are almost empty. Time to swim, take photos, and explore.
10:30 — Second island + snorkeling
A change of scenery: coral reefs, colorful fish, and (depending on the tour) the famous shipwreck off Isla Perro Chico.
12:30 — Lunch on the island
Fresh fish, coconut rice, and patacones, with your feet in the sand.
1:30 PM — Third island or free time
A hammock, a cold coconut, or more snorkeling—you set the pace.
2:30 PM — The Natural Pool
The perfect ending: a sandbar in the middle of the sea, waist-deep water, and starfish all around.
3:30 PM — Return
Boat to the port and a 4x4 ride back. You’ll arrive at your hotel at dusk, tired and happy.
