Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know About Your Day Trip

What's included in the one-day tour to San Blas?

Door-to-door 4x4 transportation from your hotel in Panama City, a boat ride between the islands, a visit to 3 islands and the Natural Pool, a traditional lunch, and guides from the Guna community. All for $135 per person.

How do I pay? Do I have to pay everything in advance?

No. You make a reservation by paying a deposit to secure your spot and date, and you pay the rest on the day of the tour when we pick you up. Cancellation is free up to 72 hours in advance.

How much does the day trip cost?

Most day tours cost $135 per person, all inclusive. Two exceptions: the Getaway Deal ($114, 2 islands + Natural Pool) and the VIP Package ($149, 4 islands + Guna community). The comarca tax is paid separately.

Is the county tax included?

No. The entrance fee to the Guna Yala region is collected directly by the indigenous community and is not included: it is $22 for foreigners and $7 for nationals, payable in cash upon arrival. Children ages 0 to 9 are exempt.

What time are the pickup and drop-off?

Pickup at your hotel is around 5:00 a.m., and you'll return to Panama City in the late afternoon. It's a full-day tour.

Which of the 15 tours should I choose?

Everyone visits 3 islands + the Natural Pool. Choose by area or by the islands that appeal to you most. If you're not sure, message us on WhatsApp and we'll give you free advice.

Can I request a specific island, such as Perro Chico?

Yes! Many of the San Blas islands are very similar, and our tours visit several of them. If you'd like to visit a specific island, just let us know when you book, and we'll do our best to include it in your itinerary, depending on the weather and conditions on the day of the tour.

Can the islands on the itinerary be changed on the day of the tour?

Yes, that can happen. The published itinerary is the planned one, but on the day of the tour, adjustments may be made due to weather, sea conditions, tides, or regulations set by local authorities. The captain and the tour guide have the final say, always with your safety in mind. If one island can’t be visited, it will be replaced by another just as beautiful—remember that almost all the islands in San Blas share the same white sand and turquoise waters.

🐷 Reserve your spot with a deposit

You don't have to pay the full amount today: you can book with a deposit and pay the rest on the day of the tour, once you're in San Blas.
