Terms and Conditions
These terms govern the booking and participation in day trips to San Blas (Guna Yala) operated by San Blas Full. By booking, you agree to these terms.
1. Reservations and Deposit
Your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of the deposit specified at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of the tour, at the time of pickup. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) per person.
2. What's Included in the Price
The price includes door-to-door 4x4 transportation from Panama City, a boat ride between islands with life jackets, visits to the islands listed for each tour, the Natural Pool, a traditional lunch, and a local guide. It does not include the entrance fee to the Guna Yala region ($22 for foreigners / $7 for nationals; children ages 0–9 are exempt), which is paid in cash directly to the Guna authorities, nor does it include alcoholic beverages or personal expenses.
3. Route Changes and Islands
The islands and the order of visit listed are the planned itinerary. On the day of the tour, the itinerary may change due to sea or weather conditions, tides, regulations from the Guna Yala regional authorities, capacity limits on the islands, or other operational reasons. The captain and the boat guide have the final say on the route, always prioritizing your safety and the best possible experience. If a specific island cannot be visited, it will be replaced by another of equivalent beauty; this does not entitle you to a refund, provided that the tour includes the advertised number of stops.
4. Cancellations and Date Changes
You can cancel for free or change your date up to 72 hours before the tour, with a full refund of your deposit. Within 72 hours of the tour, the deposit is non-refundable, but it can be applied to a new date, subject to availability. If we cancel for safety reasons (exceptional sea or weather conditions), we will reschedule at no cost or refund 100% of the amount paid.
5. Documents and Requirements
You must present your original passport or national ID card to enter the Guna Yala region; copies or photos are not accepted. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please disclose any relevant medical conditions, food allergies, or special needs when making your reservation.
6. Safety and Liability
Wearing a life jacket on the boat is mandatory for all passengers. You must follow the captain’s and guide’s instructions at all times. San Blas Full is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings (we recommend using waterproof bags), nor for activities undertaken outside the tour itinerary.
7. Respect for the Guna Yala region
San Blas is an autonomous territory of the Guna people. You agree to respect their rules: do not take starfish or coral, do not leave trash on the islands, ask for permission before photographing people, and respect community areas. Serious violations of these rules may result in the tour being terminated without a refund.
