Corbiski

Yes, you can visit Corbiski in a single day. It sits in the Communities area and is included in 1 of our day trips from Panama City, from $135 per person: pickup is around 5:00 am and you are back the same day.

An inhabited island where you can observe the daily life of the Guna people among traditional houses.

Corbiski is an inhabited island, not a beach stop. You walk between cane houses with palm roofs, you see people going about their business, and it lands all at once that the comarca is a place where people live and not a set.

It goes on the cultural route with El Porvenir and Narganá. It is the smallest and the least set up for tourism of the three, and that is why it looks most like daily life in Guna Yala.

Which tours include Corbiski

One route reaches this island, and it is the one that sets the price.

What else you see the same day

No day trip stops at just one island. These are the ones that share the morning with Corbiski.

  • El Porvenir Administrative headquarters of the Guna Yala region, with an airstrip and a museum.
  • Narganá Connected by a bridge to Corazón de Jesús, the region’s top cultural tourism destination.

Questions about Corbiski

Can you visit Corbiski in a single day?

Yes. You leave Panama City around 5:00 am by 4x4, cross into the comarca and continue by boat; you are back the same afternoon. No overnight stay needed.

How much does it cost to reach Corbiski?

From $135 per person, depending on which of our routes you take. That price already covers the door-to-door 4x4, the boat, lunch and the guide. The only extra is the comarca entrance fee, paid once: $22 for foreigners and $7 for residents, in cash and directly to the Guna community.

How long do you spend on Corbiski?

A day trip splits the morning and afternoon between the islands on the itinerary, so no single stop lasts all day. If you would rather stay on one island without rushing, message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you which route comes closest.

Is there a beach stop here?

There is no beach stop: this is an island village. You walk between cane houses with palm roofs while people carry on with their day, and it hits you at once that the comarca is somewhere people live.

How should I behave?

Exactly as you would on a neighbour's street: say hello, do not walk through a door you were not called into, and ask before raising the camera. You are walking right past people's homes.
