Yansailadup

Yes, you can visit Yansailadup in a single day. It sits in the Leisure and Culture area and is included in 1 of our day trips from Panama City, from $135 per person: pickup is around 5:00 am and you are back the same day.

A neighbor of Yanis, it shares its emerald waters with even fewer visitors.

Yansailadup shares Yanis’s emerald water and gets considerably fewer people. It is on the authentic route, the one that goes towards life in the comarca rather than towards the most searched-for islands.

It is the kind of stop nobody chooses: it turns up in the itinerary and ends up being liked more than the ones you actually came for.

Which tours include Yansailadup

One route reaches this island, and it is the one that sets the price.

What else you see the same day

No day trip stops at just one island. These are the ones that share the morning with Yansailadup.

  • Isla Ina (Narasgandubb Bibbi) Affordable and authentic, with simple cabins in the Guna community.
  • Nalunega A traditional community near El Porvenir, known for its molas and its hospitality.

Questions about Yansailadup

Can you visit Yansailadup in a single day?

Yes. You leave Panama City around 5:00 am by 4x4, cross into the comarca and continue by boat; you are back the same afternoon. No overnight stay needed.

How much does it cost to reach Yansailadup?

From $135 per person, depending on which of our routes you take. That price already covers the door-to-door 4x4, the boat, lunch and the guide. The only extra is the comarca entrance fee, paid once: $22 for foreigners and $7 for residents, in cash and directly to the Guna community.

How long do you spend on Yansailadup?

A day trip splits the morning and afternoon between the islands on the itinerary, so no single stop lasts all day. If you would rather stay on one island without rushing, message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you which route comes closest.

Is it the same as Isla Yanis?

The water is the same green, but far fewer people get off here. If you liked the colour at Yanis, you get it here with half the company: save the long swim for this stop.

Can I ask to be taken only here?

It is not sold on its own: it sits inside the authentic route, alongside Isla Ina and Nalunega. It often happens that the stop nobody was looking for ends up being the favourite of the day.
